A few things before you start.
Does Brewing upload my files?
No. Core file processing, previews, OCR and task search run on your Mac. Purchasing, activating or recovering a license uses an internet connection and does not send your documents.
Where do the trial and purchase happen?
You start the trial in the downloaded app. When sales open, Buy will take you to a secure browser checkout. Your license code arrives by email; enter it in Brewing under License & trial to activate your Mac.
Will I need Apple Intelligence?
No. Ordinary task search and all registered tools work without it. Optional Apple on-device suggestions are available only on eligible Macs and systems.
Which Macs will be supported?
We’ll publish the supported macOS versions and Mac models with the public download. Release testing is still in progress, so we are not yet promising older-system or Intel compatibility.
